6. Caution

Running away with an idea is more of an easy path to follow. Especially in the fiction, where the base idea can be put forth through characters and through their events. But, there must always be a word of caution adhered to while doing so.

On giving some thought to the credence of the story built upon a metaphor, which is encapsulated in a mimetic way, as a symbol, gives rise to the ideas of characters that are involved in such a fictional world. It may be seemingly much too obvious that to continue on a story arc of fiction, the mimesis experiment did give two personal characters, the bearer of the fruit, and the onlooker who views the bearer’s fruit, and if he desires, he can participate in the events that gave rise to the fruit. I will call these as the archetypes of the characters that will play their part in this fictional world. The archetype that encapsulates such character archetypes, is that of a gnosis, which involves the source of the knowledge (that of the bearer) and the seeker of knowledge (that of the onlooker).

As I have told you prior that this excercise of gnosis will encompass certain mysteries, thus the seeker feels like has the endless possibilities to reach the source. Although, for a fictional world, there must have the limits placed upon so that this world does not become infinitely vicious. But, here comes the catch with the mystery, it must not be easily revealed. And, secondly, the mystery entails some sort of intrigue that makes it difficult to reach the desired goal, even if the onlooker perfectly partakes in the cause, and actions of the bearer. And, thirdly, it somewhat guarantees twists and turns in the excercise of gnosis. The character might be forced to play certain acts that he would never be intended to. Same goes for the bearer.

Now, there can be another notion regarding the characters interacting with the mimetic concept of the fruit. The particular notion, that an onlooker, if he actively views the fruit, will himself produce fruit, and thus, become a bearer himself. A bearer, through the fruit, can generate another bearer of another fruit, given the twists and turns the new bearer faces while knowing the previous bearer. And, given the entitlement of the fiction, such notion begs the two-fold questions.

Who exactly is the arch-bearer or proto-bearer, if the bearer can produce another bearer of a kind using the fruit he bears? And, doesn’t it leads to an infinite regression of the bearers?

These questions seem like the logical following of the fictional world that is attempted here. And, thus the words of caution, very simply, a mimetic void fruit. Since, in our fictional world here, the attempt to characterize is surely dependent on the existence of a mimetic concept of fruit, that encapsulates the human cause-action-consequence chain, that leaves a high plausibility of such a fruit that does not contain any of these traits. Problem solved?

Color me skeptical.

Since the beginning, it is a mimesis of the real fruit in the real world. It grew to encapsulate the chain of cause, action and the final consequence. It is marked with limitations of singular cause, a singular action, and a singular final consequence, all under the human volition of the bearer of the fruit, and these can be repeated. And, has views attributed to it from the onlooker.

With the above summary, the notion of a void fruit to begin with is the real danger that I see. And, from the above summary, it seems that the mimetic fruit is clearly, a deed of creation. The bearer will only bear the fruit when he has a cause, upon which he acts, and finally, his acts bear consequences that have a varying degrees of profound impact in the fictional world. While, the gnosis of the bearer, and following his footsteps can only be done by the onlooker. Thus, he subscribes to a deed of creation. And, he, the onlooker, himself creates his own fruits. The creative deed thus totally dismisses the void fruit.

Thus, it seem to answer about who would be the proto-bearer, any character in this fictional world. And, it won’t lead to infinite regression, since there will be a limited number of characters, though, they may have good reasons to be scaled according to the mimetic fruits being produced and different paths of events been taken by the characters, to fulfill the gnosis archetype. Thus, the word of caution.
