4. View

As we have chalked out the growth and limits of the fruit, there sprouts up another concept called the view. The mimesis of the real fruit, that becomes the embodiment of the cause-action-effect that includes volition, is the crucial part in understanding this anecdote.

The view of a fruit is directly related to the volition or the will to acknowledge it as an evidence. An evidence to the underlying course of action and the ultimate single cause that gave birth to the consequences, encapsulated in the fruit. If there’s a fruit, it must be the evidence pointing towards the volition of someone with a purpose to be fulfilled in our mimetic world. This evidence, while being seen by the onlooker, gives him the idea of what the actor wanted to achieve with his action, resulting into a certain consequence.

The view of a fruit, acts as a glue between the fruit and it’s actor. Or, for more better purpose, the bearer. When a fruit is viewed, it tells a story about its bearer. The limits that we discussed, do not enumerate whether the fruit would have one or multiple bearers. But, for the sake of ease, let’s stick to one particular bearer. In this case, the fruit becomes an identifier to a particular bearer. Although, the things take place in mimesis guided by imagination, but if someone finds a fruit lying in this world, it points out to the bearer. When the person views the fruit, he must attribute it to someone.

But, here’s a deal. Although, all such limitations are in place, there is an aspect of mystery surrounding the knowledge about the bearer. Thus, a fruit determines that it must have a bearer, that’s the view of the fruit. But, the view never tells who exactly is the bearer. A limitation on the view.

Thus, if an onlooker has a view of a fruit, he must be curious about its bearer. But, he won’t be about to tell, who the bearer exactly is. He must start a journey to the bearer, to know about the bearer. To follow the breadcrumbs that lead to an entropy of paths, but it is upon the onlooker to figure out the right path to the bearer. And, to partake into such a journey, he must eat the fruit.

On eating the fruit, he finds a particular view that points to a reverse chain of effect-action-cause. Consuming the fruit opens the doors to view the experience of the consequence, followed by the action that led to the consequence, and ultimately to the cause, the end-goal for the action. To simply put, the onlooker steps into the shoes of the bearer, and thus reverse-engineers the bearer’s journey.

Thus, there are exactly two aspects in which the view of a fruit can be depicted.

One, a casual view. The onlooker gets to view a fruit, just to know that there is a bearer of the fruit, who necessarily exists. But he would know nothing about the bearer.

And two, the actual view. This is when the onlooker eats the fruit, and he partakes in the bearer’s journey, to know the bearer at a personal level, and to cherish and understand the bearer’s mindset that led him, the bearer, to bear the fruit.
